DROP THE STIGMA IN YOUR HANDS AND YOU WILL BE FREE TO HOLD MY HAND

Kgangkgolo ke e. molaetsa wa ga Ba Mreppa ke gore, are tshwaraganeng. Go tswa go lowe, Batswana khutong tse nne tsa lefatshe ne ba tshela mmogo ka go thusana e le mowa wa boja mmogo. Ere ha motho a fagare ga dipharagobe, bangwe batswe thuso ka ha baitse gore mareledi asale pele. Botshelo joo, le ronaa gompieno re tshwanetse ra botshela. Re similole ka go amogela seemo, re a moegele bao ba thokileng lesego ba iphithela ba tshela ka mogare. Mo gole nosi, goka re ruta gore re ikgaphe ebile bao ba re ba amogetseng ba kgone go tshela sente ka lorato le thokgamo.

The values of forefathers should not be abandoned. Its not that they didn't have problems and miserable situations but its how they choose to face. They lived together as children of one! children of the same homestead who helped each through difficult times. Maybe this is why in earlier times there was less stigma towards the less fortunate. Today HIV/AIDS stigma is rampant, it is destroying every move we make to defeat the scurge. Stigmatization will continue to build up and block our war efforts because our true values are fading with time.
We are no longer neighbours! Go a itshelelwa!
We are no longer people! but savages!
Ga re sa thola re le bana ba motho! We venture on our own into the unknown!
Ga re Setshaba sa merafe ya Batswana! We are fragments of copied identities!

All that is being said is lets relive our values, the suburbs should not divide us, the city should not destroy us, the 'rurals' should not destroy our parents. Be my neighbour enough to know i am affected or infected. Be my sibling enough to help through with the HIV?AIDS medication.
In that way, u and I can go further and the world shall admire us.

Remember, your family is my family, "mongwe le mongwe ke motsadi wa gago" therefore every one is another sibling. Drop the stigma and hold my hand.
